JEREZ English

Cueva de Adulam, Jerez, Zacatecas
Pastors: Manuel y Lourdes Dominguez
The ministry in Jerez began in 1992, and at first we would come from Zacatecas, to hold meetings once a week. After a time, we saw the need to establish something more permanent, so we moved to Jerez to establish a church there. We had been serving in our church in Zacatecas for 10 yrs. where Robert Duran was our pastor, and where we had participated in various ministries when we moved to Jerez. We had been married for one year, and our first daughter was one month old. Now we were facing a new challenge as we started a new church in a new place. Now, 15 yrs later, we know that God was behind it all.
We began having meetings in our home, visiting and praying for different families that we were getting to know. Later we rented our first building to hold meetings, first a building for 20 people, then, as we grew, we moved to a building for 50 people and finally for 80 people. We have been working with events for children and women as well as home meetings, classes for
married couples, and reaching out by praying for the sick in hospitals. We also participate with the Cueva de Adulam schools by receiving students who are doing their practical training, and sending youth to the school.
